Trade? I am willing to trade this machine for a good-working Mac PowerBook 12". FYI, I used the MYSTIC to store all my old 68k software and data from the late 80s and 90s. It works great. But I have to get rid of it or turn it into a fish-tank!
Apple Color (Colour) Classic Mystic+
Mystic = LC575 motherboard, installed, fully functioning.
+ = full 68040 chip (68040LC chip available upon request); this machine has the processor of a Quadra950.
RAM: 36MB
OS: German Mac OS 7.1
HD: 2gb internal HD
Network: Ethernet (a bit slow but works great on the internets!)
The machine outputs stereo and the internal microphone works.
Included are Apple keyboard, Apple mouse, electrical cable; many other peripheral options - see below.
Monitor: I have NOT upgraded/modified the monitor of this machine. The screen is original 512x384. The monitor analogue-board is untouched. Monitor works great.
Other modifications:
1) I have replaced the out-dated original puffer battery with three standard AA batteries, including a new battery holder - so you don't have to search for those old batteries!
2) I have cut and formed the original LC575 back panel to fit the rear of this machine. Unlike most Mystic mods there is a fully functioning back panel for this machine, i.e. the small panel that when removed allows you to pull out the motherboard and also provides connection info regarding keyboard, mouse, scsi, etc.
