Ohne Computer kann das iRecord Pro Gerät von so gut wie jeder audio-visuelle Quelle (NTSC, PAL, Secam), die in den vergangenen 40 Jahren herstellt wurde, Signale aufnehmen und selbständig in aktuelle Formate für iPod, Walkman, PSP und andere sowie natürlich dem aktuellen iPhone 3G konvertieren. In hohen Qualitäten werden D1 (720 x 480), H.264 Video und sogenanntes Lossless Audio unterstützt. Der kompakte iRecord Pro kostet rund US $ 260 und ist lieferbar. Das Gerät ist mit einem NXP Semiconductors VLIW Media-Prozessor bestückt.
