Die Uni Stanford bietet einen Kurs zum Thema "iPhone Application Programming" auch online an. Woche für Woche stehen Videoaufzeichnungen der Seminare inklusive aufgelegter Folien zum Herunterladen auf iTunes U zur Verfügung. Themen des Kurses sind die Gestaltung von Anwendungen, Multitouch-Techniken, Core Animationen und Bonjour. Neben dem Video können Teilnehmer die Informationen in PDF-Dokumenten auch in gedruckter Form nachlesen. Der erste Teil ist bereits online und stellt den Start zu einem zehnwöchigen Kurs dar. Das Material wird über iTunes U wie ein Podcast abonniert, der Download ist kostenlos.
